Rumours, Mr. Chairman, and shaving the Tiger

Stiller is the new Phoenix [who] is the new Brando.

Fed chairman Bernanke said yesterday that he is hopeful that the recession will end in two thousand nine. "Only if that is the case, in my view there is a reasonable prospect that the current recession will end in 2009 and that 2010 will be a year of recovery," said Bernanke. BURR-NACKY.

Tiger made his return to professional golf today. I'm pretty sure he's a superhuman. "I think he's from another planet, and I'd like to visit," Barrett says. He started the first day of the WGC-Accenture Match Play with a birdie and an eagle. First round, Brendan Jones, boom, roasted. Shave, Tiger, shave.

Rumours was released in February 1977 as Fleetwood Mac's 13th studio album, but only the second outing with the Buckingham/Nicks lineup (the first being 1975's self-titled). James Bushey would say, "What a pitiful spelling of the word rumors," for this is his opinion of all spellings chiefly British. To be honest, I have drawn this album to my bosom. Just pulled it in close. I don't care that it won Album of the Year at the 1978 Grammy Awards. Or that it sold 8,000,000 copies in 1977 (over 30 million to date). Look at these guys. They were at each others throats between February and August of 1976, which yielded a lot of incredible music, which we interpret today in 2008 as "sexual tension." Though the romantic relationships ended, the success of the album ultimately lifted the bandmates from their anguish and misery and the band continued on for years thereafter. Won't you lay me down in the tall grass and let me do my stuff?

The new picture at the top of the blog is of downtown Little Rock. I work in the building that is the second from the right. I stole this picture from cormack13's photostream on flickr. I don't know who you are, I dont have your permission, but I like you and thank you. Notice the Christmas tree on the side of the Bank of America building. Great shot, cormack13. Can I keep it?

My sister Bonnie, 17 sent me a text message tonight at 10:14 pm saying "Text "vote" to 5706 right now! It's a vote for kris Allen from Conway Arkansas for american idol!!" So I did.
